The Best Platform for Your Business' Website Right Now

Why I'm Building So Many Clients' Sites on Framer

Every once in a while, there’s a tool that comes along that really moves an industry or discipline forward.

Framer is that tool for building websites.

There are so many ways to ship a site today. A traditional CMS like Wordpress can do a lot, but the handoff and maintenance are complex. There are modern alternatives such as Webflow or Wix that offer lots of design freedom, but they get complex and sluggish really quickly.

In the AI era, lots of businesses are skipping the CMS layer and going from Figma designs right to code with the help of coding agents. This allows you to get any result you want (theoretically) but it’s hard to build something that non-technical people can manage with ease. It’s capable, but fragile.

Framer solves these problems for a large amount of use cases. It offers design freedom, the ability to build with code, an incredibly user-friendly way for businesses to publish new content to the site, and works beautifully with your AI tools to speed this all up.

Complete Design Freedom

We can build pretty much whatever you want in Framer. It’s a design tool as powerful as Figma (what the vast majority of Fortune 500 companies use to design sites & software) but can publish right to the web.

This means that bringing your site to life is faster, because both design and development happens in one sitting. We can experiment with an idea, and then put it on the web to test and bring it to life remarkably fast. The time gap between “we want to solve this problem” and a potential solution has never been shorter.

Custom Code Components

The problem with visual site builders for years has been that building custom solutions with code has felt like attaching something to the site with duct tape. It works, but it’s not elegant.

We can build custom code components to do just about anything you can imagine, and Framer is built to integrate these natively. I recently had a client that wanted an interactive map on their site where users could see all the locations they service, and we built a custom component in an afternoon on Framer.

Publishing Is As Simple As It Should Be

The Framer CMS is so capable, but at the same time simple. It operates like an elegant spreadsheet that we can built for whatever content you need to manage on the site. Blogs, yes, but also staff pages, locations, case studies, events, & more.

The handoff from the designer or developer to a marketing team (or often someone inside a small business that wears many hats) almost doesn’t even require real training. 5-10 minutes walking through it, and you’re publishing content on your site. This means lower costs to maintain & less time to manage.

AI That’s Shockingly Useful

Framer’s internal AI Agent is shockingly good. You can manage your site’s content conversationally, and it feels like magic to just give it a Google Doc that someone wrote a blog post on and watch it perfectly translate it onto your site.

Additionally, you can use your own AI tools like Claude or Codex to manage the site. This means that you’re bringing your business context to your website management flow. An email with some ideas from yesterday afternoon can become a landing page draft by lunch.

Capable & Reliable

In addition to what sets it apart, Framer allows us to do all the basics well:

  • Smooth, fast sites that nail SEO & Accessibility standards.

  • Rock-solid hosting infrastructure so that you don’t need to worry about some hosting platform that your developer gets a good deal on.

  • Webhooks & third party integrations are easy to implement, so it fits well into your business’ current technology stack.

  • Similar pricing to a Wordpress Builder & Hosting or a Squarespace subscription, so it incurs no extra cost compared to alternatives.

Framer is one of those rare tools that both lowers the floor and raises the ceiling for building & managing a website. It’s remarkably simple for your day-to-day, but is robust enough that we can build whatever is best for your site.
